INSTALLATION
============

To install CD Player for Windows, follow these steps:

1. Create a temporary directory.  For example, C:\TEMP
2. Unzip the entire contents of the distribution zip file into C:\TEMP.
3. From Windows, run the program \TEMP\INSTALL.EXE.
4. Use the Installation program to automatically install the files.
5. That's it!


TROUBLESHOOTING
===============

GENERAL PROTECTION FAULTS
-------------------------

1. When I click on Window/Small Window I sometimes get a General
   Protection Fault.

   SOLUTION: Our tests have shown this problem will surface if you are
   using an outdated THREED.VBX file.  You should use the THREED.VBX
   that is included with the CDPlayer distribution or a more recent
   version.  If you are having problems with General Protection Faults
   from Window/Small and your THREED.VBX is later than the version
   included with the distribution please send a copy of your THREED.VBX
   to Vault Information Services. (see below concerning sending files
   to VIS).

INSTALLING WITH WINDOWS 95
--------------------------

1. Follow the Installation Steps listed above.
2. Refer to the WINCD.HLP Help file for information concerning installing
   CD Player for Windows in Windiws 95.
